While recently twitch tv has been invaded by cam girls and music channels. This endless attack is compounded by the Paul brothers and normie youtubers trying to use twitch to make a quick buck. Twitch tv is one of the few sites were the gaming community can get together without the prying eyes of the normie alliance.
For the most part we have been able to develop our own culture and lingo. This includes my favorite aspect of any culture which are the pranks. For this list I am not going to include swatting for obvious reasons. However, I do plan on making this into its own video in the future.
What’s up geeks and gamers MiZiiCz here from Archives Media. Today we are going to be covering the top 5 types of pranks on twitch. I have seen a few videos covering specific pranks but I wanted to make an all-encompassing video for the different prank formats.
Number 5 – personas
Normally pranks are done on the individual who is streaming but for this one it’s the other way around.
Weather it’s a hamster pretending to let the chat play Pokémon or a bald dwarf who screams and pretends that he is alpha. Personas are some of the best pranks because often times viewers don’t know its all an act.
Like everything else he’s done Dr. disrespect is this best at this too. Using violence speed and momentum, Dr disrespect hacked his way to top of twitch.tv. Being that he is a 6foot 5 international gaming champion most might find it hard to believe that the persona is all an act.
Number 4 – Tech support
This is when streamers don’t really know what they are doing and some “helpful” individual from chat “helps” them. Generally, they get them to hit Alt and F4 to close their game. Most streamers wont fall for this so you need to get them with something specific to that game.
Number 3 – DJ danger
When a streamer has song requests on, they are just asking for trouble. I don’t think I have watched a stream with song requests on who didn’t have someone try to troll them. There are a lot of things you can do to a streamer when they have song requests on. You can play Justin beaver, North Korean propaganda or use specially made songs to ruin the stream. Some specially made songs are just replace a few words in the middle of the song with the N-word while others take it to the next level.
My personally favorite is what I call the Ice Poseidon. He would leave one headphone out and his viewers would make special songs with normal music in one ear and racial slurs in the other.
Another more harmless version of this when the viewer will add a door knocking sound to a sound making it sound like someone is at their door.
Number 2 – Rick Roll
Rick rolling is a classic prank from the early days of the internet. This prank has evolved throughout the years with the most recent version being the gnome. I think everyone knows what this one is and I don’t need to explain it.
Number 1 – inappropriate username
Pretty much every streamer welcomes new subscribers to their channel. Most of the time it’s just a special moment for whoever subscribed. However, some people get creatively inappropriate usernames and create a good chuckle for everyone else in the stream if they can get the streamer to say their username out loud.
Some of my favorite are Mike_Hawk My_dixy_rekt Ice_wallow_cmen And Smelly_Knee_Grows
After that I think we all know this video has no chance of being monetized so I could put a buttery smooth transition to another affiliate product but what I really need is more subscribers so if you made it this far, I would ask to subscribe to fight against the normie alliance. If you enjoyed the video consider leaving a like and letting me know if you want another 5 pranks from twitch.
